[Name]: AndrAIa
[Canon]: ReBoot
[Age]: appears to be in her mid 20s
[Gender]: Female
[Canon Point]: End of ReBoot season 4
[History]:
ReBoot is a series that takes place within a computer-- where the sprites live with binomes and fight against the User in games. It's main characters consist for four main characters-- Bob, the Guardian, Dot, the Command Dot Com, her younger brother Enzo, and a virus called Megabyte. Within the show, it started fairly light hearted-- a story of good versus evil with fun little games splashed in to the mix. The characters are able to "Reboot" within the games in which the sprites and binomes can equip special abilities and items that will help them defeat the user. Before we can talk about AndrAIa, we really should talk about Enzo.
Enzo starts off the series as an energetic, lonely sprite whose friends really include his sister, his dog Frisket, and his hero Bob. He didn't grow up with other sprites his age, do to a failed experiment his dad conducted when he was very young that destroyed a sector in Mainframe where most of the younger sprites lived. There came a time where he really longed for a true companion and a friend.
AndrAIa was originally a game sprite from the Treasure of Atlantis game- which explains her aquatic features. She was a more advanced form of game sprite- which was an AI (Artificial Intelligence) which made her a more dangerous threat in the game- fighting and tactics was all she knew. That was until she met Enzo. The two young sprites befriended one another, Enzo thinking that AndrAIa was a sprite from Mainframe like himself, that he didn't meet yet. Trying to impress her, he pretended to be a Guardian- a destroyer of viruses and protector of a system (which was really his friend and hero, Bob, who was also playing the game elsewhere with his older sister Dot). AndrAIa knew he was lying, but she didn't care- she immediately fell in love with him. While the game was ending, Enzo discovered that AndrAIa was a game sprite, and that meant win or lose once the game was over she would leave with it. He decided he didn't want to beat the game because of this, though pushing him onward AndrAIa encouraged him to win and Enzo succeeded in beating the User. However, AndrAIa managed to hide her backup on Enzo's icon and she made it back to Mainframe with him. Since then, the two young sprites were inseparable.
Living in Mainframe, AndrAIa stayed with Phong at the Principal Office. She took just about everything literally, and was still adjusting to how life worked outside of a game. She quickly became a great help to Mainframe's defenses, and helped ward off Nullzilla with Enzo and his friends. Mainframe faced harsh times when Web Creatures found their way into their system, and it became such a big problem that the Guardians planned on destroying Mainframe as long as the Web Creatures remained. In a "common-enemy" agreement, the denizens of Mainframe- namely Bob- agreed to work with the Viruses of the system (Megabyte and Hexadecimal) to ward off the Web Creatures. It was during this time that Bob made Enzo a Guardian Cadet Version 1, just in case something happened to him. While they were being successful and they saved the system from the Web Creatures as well as the Guardians, Megabyte betrayed Bob and shot him to the Web along with the Web Creatures. Mainframe had lost their Guardian, and Megabyte declared war on Mainframe. Enzo then stepped up as Guardian, while still a young boy, the system needed someone to defend it. With the support of his sister Dot, the hacker Mouse, Phong, and AndrAIa, it became possible that the boy could do it-- as long as he had confidence.
It was at that time that Mouse was working on reformatting the code of her own icon as well as AndrAIa's. This was so that the both of them could enter games with the young Guardian and "Reboot", as well as returning safely to Mainframe without any problems or fear of leaving with the game. When the next game appeared in Mainframe, AndrAIa tricked Mouse causing her to stay behind- this way, if the experimental icons didn't work they would just lose one of them and not both. It worked, and since then, AndrAIa became Enzo's partner within the games- helping him win and better defend the system.
Right at a high tension moment during the viral wars, Enzo, AndrAIa and Frisket got into a game that they couldn't win. Enzo got injured terribly, and to survive the three changed their icons to game sprite mode. They jumped from game to game, trying to find a Port to the Net or if by luck they'd make their way back to Mainframe. Within the games, time is accelerated and they compiled faster- In that time, AndrAIa matured and was the level-headed voice of her counterpart, Enzo (who at his adulthood preferred to be called Matrix). She no longer had the problem of simple misunderstandings as she did as a child, and she also developed an optimistic demeanor and great sense of humor. She became a great companion to Matrix, and at times still calls him Enzo. As they grew up together, they had established a romantic relationship.
Through their travels they finally found a Port to the Net- though the Guardians shut down all Net Travel due to a viral infection that was taking control of them. AndrAIa and Matrix met with Capacitor (a former business partner of Dot and pirate) and agreed to break his crew free from incarceration to use his ship to go into the Web and find Bob. Through the prison break, AndrAIa was saved by Ray Tracer- a web surfer- and she brought him to the Saucy Mare with her. This brought a lot of tension to Matrix, as the Surfer was a bit of a ladies man and was constantly flirting with AndrAIa. His jealousy was beginning to "rock the boat" so to speak. Gathering dead Web Creatures to instal as a web shield to the ship, his jealousy blinded him to the point that he was too late to save AndrAIa from being bitten by a baby web creature- who took some of her code with it. She was partially erased and put into a coma.
Things weren't looking good and went bad to worse as the ship ran across a group of Web Riders that began attacking the ship. As the Saucy Mare was about to lose, with great luck one of the Riders ended up being Bob. He saved AndrAIa, fixing her code, and reunited with his friends.
They made their way back to a Dystopian Mainframe. Reuniting with their friends and family, they worked together to take down Megabyte in one last, final showdown. Megabyte, however, was ready to leave Mainframe as it was a dying system, and was planning on destroying it and moving elsewhere. As Matrix got his long-awaited fight with Megabyte, it ended with the system crashing. The defense team of Mainframe worked together to evacuate all functioning denizens and scan all their PIDs into the data base. Bob had the idea of letting the next Game Cube to fall to finish and let the User win. The damage it would cause would hopefully push the system into a forced restart. With great luck, the plan succeeded- the system rebooted and returned to its former glory.
[Personality]:
AndrAIa started as a naive young game sprite, with a crush on a Guardian Cadet and a small understanding of the world outside games. Staying in Mainframe for the small amount of time that she did, she took things very literally and was still on a mission to become an asset to the system, and a strong support and ally to Enzo. Once she was able to enter back into the games, she acted as his boost of confidence and helping him along his personal trials- becoming a Guardian for Mainframe during the Viral Wars.
Being trapped in the games, AndrAIa developed into a smart, savvy, reliable person with a practical perspective on things. She no longer took things so literally, and while looking for the right system- whether it was Mainframe of a system with a port to the Net- she made a great effort to help systems in need. Matrix and herself even developed a method to help train sprites from other systems to better defend themselves. Their partnership is strong, and a force to be reckoned with- even when they don't agree on something individually they are strong.
The fact that she is AI makes it so that she is constantly analyzing a situation, which makes her a formidable opponent as well as a great support. Even in serious battles, AndrAIa runs a sarcastic, playful dialog. Through her trials since meeting Enzo, she always held an optimistic demeanor, supporting those that she cares about with confidence. Being a game sprite, and an AI at that, she is a quick study and learns things rapidly. Socially, she developed a fairly outgoing personality- usually being the one to step out and talk to civilians of a system while Matrix was usually in the background acting as the token badass.
She also has a strange infatuation with motorcycles or "bikes" as she calls them. This infatuation existed well into her youth, and didn't appear to disappear in her adulthood.
She doesn't seem to discriminate people based on their sex, age, or even species. While Matrix is quick to show aggression to every virus on-site (with good reason), AndrAIa realizes not every virus is like Megabyte and she's willing to look at the entire situation before rushing forward with "guns-a-blazing". In this aspect she's very similar to Bob, though she won't get into a situation that seems questionable without a thought out plan.
She cares deeply for Matrix, and has only been apart from him once since they have been together. All in all, she is a balance to him. She's strong and independent on her own- since it is in her nature to adapt, but she would surely feel empty without him. At times, she still calls him Enzo, and in more quiet moments she will call him Lover. In their adulthood, while their love for each other runs deep- AndrAIa doesn't let Matrix's stubbornness derail her and isn't afraid to speak her mind to him even if it leads to an argument. This goes for anyone else that she believes might need another perspective.
[Abilities / Strengths & Weaknesses]:
AndrAIa is an incredibly skilled fighter because she is able to adapt and assess a situation quickly due to her Game Sprite AI code. She's not the kind to turn down a challenge, and will take everything head on no matter how trivial it might seem. She's able to think about other people and displays a great deal of compassion. She may be quick to trust others, but she is a decent judge of character. Not much scares her away since she has pretty much seen it all in her age. Her weaknesses unfortunately involves her love for Enzo. She will easily jeopardize her own life for him, without thinking twice about it. Perhaps if she was afraid of anything, it would be losing him-- so she is very protective of him, and constantly is trying to help him stop and think things through before he dives into situations. However, it's in Matrix's nature to be impulsive, so she goes along for the ride.
[Limited Powers]:
AndrAIa is a game sprite, and has fingernails that can expand, shoot out, and paralyze. Her fighting abilities, thanks to her AI, is directly translated to her problem solving skills. She's very resourceful, and tactical. She also has the ability to "ReBoot" thanks to a modification to her game sprite icon. She is able to change her form to someone that matches a certain genre of game, including equipment clothing and even species change in order to help complete a game. Along with everyone else in her canon she would activate it by tapping her icon twice and saying "REBOOT!".
How I see this translating in this game is that she can change her wardrobe and equipment depending on who or what may be around her-- kind of like shape-shifting. I'd just call it "Rebooting". Besides that, I'd say she still has her paralysis ability.

Hello? Is anyone there?
[AndrAIa lets out a breath, going on.]
My name is AndrAIa. I'm a sprite from the system called Mainframe. As you can probably guess, I want to go home.
[She lets out a small, nervous laugh]
Assuming this isn't a dream or malfunction...I'm not entirely sure if this is another system or a game.
[And she's not about to Reboot without knowing what she's up against.]
If you are traveling in hopes to find the fragments of this gem this inscription is speaking of, I ask that you consider taking me along. I'm a skilled warrior and tactician, and if it means anything to you-- a good friend. I promise you wont be disappointed.
